ABOUT Me

Coming from a background in Learning & Development, being a celebrant perfectly combines my passion for people with my creativity, communication, and organisational skills!

I believe that your big day should be totally and utterly reflective of you, and a day to remember for all the right reasons. Planning your day should be an enjoyable experience too, and I understand that every couple is unique. I cannot wait to get to know you and create your bespoke ceremony!

INCLUSIVITY Matters

As a queer, neurodivergent person of colour, my own lived experience shapes the service I offer as a celebrant, being sensitive and considerate of the different experiences and needs of all my couples. Helping you celebrate their love authentically and unapologetically is at the heart of what I do.

I never make assumptions; I ask every individual and couple what pronouns they identify with, and discuss what terms feel authentic to them, because 'bride' and 'groom' doesn't fit everyone!

When we meet to plan your ceremony, we’ll discuss ways to include elements of your own heritage, whether that's through readings, blessings and/or symbolic gestures. We’ll also discuss the logistics of the day, considering things like accessibility and whether veering away from the typical set up of a wedding day would help to ensure maximum comfort and social battery!

I pride myself in being a safe place for couples to land - I'm able to build trust and an openness very quickly, and together we create unforgettable celebrations, bursting with love, fun and personality! Being able to marry couples from my own community is the cherry on top of this job for me!

In a nutshell...

- I love my furry babies, Reilly, Poppy and Matthew (and I will be obsessed with yours too!) getting them all in one picture is a challenge though!

- My partner and I live for gigs - but admittedly, we're past the age of buying 'standing' tickets!

- I will regularly eat myself into a food coma - pasta and sushi are my faves!

- I'm a collector of tattoos, but don't ask how many - I've lost count!

- In my late thirties I’ve rediscovered dance - healing my inner child by shaking my tail feather feels incredible!
